What's the difference between this and ground turmeric?
Ground turmeric powder contains only about 3-5% curcuminoids. This is a concentrated turmeric extract standardised to 95% curcuminoids, the level used in nutritional research so you get meaningful potency from one capsule.
How many curcuminoids do I get per capsule?
Around 475mg, that's 95% of the 500mg extract.
When and how should I take it?
One capsule daily with water, preferably with food. Curcumin is fat-soluble, so taking it with a meal helps.
Is this a curcumin gummy or tablet?
Neither, it's a vegan capsule, which lets us deliver a high-strength extract without the added sugar of turmeric gummies or the binders in some turmeric tablets.
Can I take it with medication?
Consult your doctor first, especially if you take bloodthinning medication or have a gallbladder or bleeding condition. Discontinue before surgery if advised.
